DJ Mag Top 100 DJs 2025: David Guetta Reclaims No.1 as Techno Artists Rise

The DJ Mag Top 100 DJs Awards 2025 took place at [UNVRS] Ibiza, marking the first time the ceremony was hosted on the island. David Guetta was voted The World’s No.1 DJ, becoming only the third artist to reach five wins in the poll’s history, alongside Martin Garrix and Armin van Buuren. More than forty years into his career, Guetta continues to release music at a relentless pace and headline major shows worldwide, from Paris’ Stade de France to Saudi Arabia’s AlUla.

This year’s results underline the rise of techno and hard techno on the global stage. Charlotte de Witte secured the title of The World’s No.1 Techno DJ, while Sara Landry made history as The World’s No.1 Hard DJ, reflecting the growing demand for harder and darker sounds.

Other techno artists also placed prominently: Anyma reached #10, Reinier Zonneveld #22, Indira Paganotto #36, and Amelie Lens #38. New entries and climbers included Nico Moreno (#67), Miss Monique (#75), I Hate Models (#79), Fantasm (#93), and Marlon Hoffstadt (#100), highlighting how underground names are breaking into the mainstream.

The 2025 rankings reflect a clear shift in electronic music culture. While global superstars like Guetta, Armin, and Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike remain dominant, the rise of Charlotte de Witte, Sara Landry, Amelie Lens, Anyma, and Indira Paganotto shows how techno is shaping the future of the scene and gaining recognition at the very top of the industry.
