EXIT Festival Goes on a Global Tour in 2026
After 25 years at the Petrovaradin Fortress, EXIT Festival is turning a new page. Following political pressure from Serbian authorities over the festival’s support for student protests, EXIT has announced that it will not take place in Novi Sad in 2026. Instead, the award-winning event will embark on a global tour titled “The First Chapter”, bringing its signature energy and message of unity to audiences across six countries.

The first stops of the tour were revealed 50 meters above Amsterdam during EXIT’s annual party at Crane Faralda, held during the Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE). The tour begins in Croatia with the Sea Star Festival in Umag, before moving to Macedonia in June. August brings a summer edition in Malta, created in collaboration with local powerhouse G7 Events. In October, EXIT lands in Egypt, where modern electronic sounds will meet the timeless beauty of the Great Pyramids of Giza, thanks to a partnership with Venture Lifestyle, a top Egyptian promoter known for events with Anyma, Carl Cox, Peggy Gou, and Solomun.
The journey continues in November, with events planned in Mumbai and Belgrade. The Mumbai edition marks EXIT’s debut in India, one of the world’s fastest-growing electronic music markets. Meanwhile, Belgrade will host an expanded version of the No Sleep Festival, which has grown into one of Europe’s most respected raves, featuring past performances by Amelie Lens, Indira Paganotto, Bicep, and Artbat.
Reflecting on the change, EXIT founder and CEO Dušan Kovačević said, “After 25 years at the Petrovaradin Fortress, EXIT is now spreading its wings to the world. We aim to unite continents through our festivals and carry the spirit of freedom wherever we go. For us, music has always been more than entertainment — it’s a powerful force that brings people together.”
More destinations and details for the EXIT Global Tour 2026 will be announced in the coming weeks, as the festival enters a new era defined by movement, connection, and the freedom to dance beyond borders.
