Fantasm Wins Defamation Case After Four Years of Accusations
The hard techno artist shares a statement on Instagram after a court ruling confirms the accusations against him were false
Hard techno artist Fantasm (Kenzo Meservey) has announced that he has won a defamation case after four years of serious accusations that spread online.
The news was shared on his Instagram, where he posted a series of statements explaining what he went through and confirming the court’s final decision.

According to a judgment issued by the Lyon Judicial Court on May 19, 2026, the individual who publicly accused Fantasm of being a sexual predator and rapist has been found guilty of defamation. The court rejected the claim that the accusations were made in “good faith,” confirming there was no factual basis behind them.
As part of the ruling, the person responsible received a suspended fine of €5,000 and was ordered to pay compensation, including €10,000 for professional damages, €1,000 for emotional distress, and €1,000 in legal fees.

In his posts, Fantasm described the past four years as extremely difficult, mentioning online attacks, threats, and the impact on his mental health, while still continuing to perform and work.
He also made it clear that there has never been any investigation or case against him, and that the accusations were false from the beginning.
Fantasm shared that he started the legal process alone at the age of 19, calling it one of the hardest things he has gone through. Over time, he found support from people around him, which helped him continue and eventually prove his case.
Now that the ruling is confirmed, he says this marks the end of that chapter. He thanked those who stood by him and said he is ready to move forward, focus on music, and enjoy life again.
