Starlight Festival says its first edition at the Great Pyramids of Giza sold out after running on 9 and 10 October. A second edition is already booked for 5 and 6 November 2027, and pre-registration is open on the festival website.
The strongest techno names in the debut lineup were Charlotte de Witte, Indira Paganotto and Enrico Sangiuliano. For de Witte, the set marked her first ever performance in Egypt. EXIT’s No Sleep stage added Charlie Sparks, BIIA, Layla Benitez, Paolo Ferrara and Olympe.
According to the event report, more than 60 international and regional artists played across several stages, with fans arriving from 114 countries. The same report describes Starlight as the first multi-day, multi-stage electronic music festival staged at the site.
Starlight is a joint project between EXIT and P+US, the electronic music platform run by Venture Lifestyle. Its debut was announced in June, and the next edition is set for 5 and 6 November 2027.
