Tomorrowland Belgium 2025 opened with a strong and emotional first weekend. More than 200,000 fans gathered in Boom to enjoy three full days of music, connection, and energy across 16 different stages.

Techno had a big presence. Belgian favorite Amelie Lens hosted her EXHALE concept at the Atmosphere stage with a hard and hypnotic lineup including Funk Tribu, Aaron Hibell, and VTSS playing back to back with SPFDJ. Sara Landry brought her intense style to the Freedom Stage, delivering a powerful set that stood out among the weekend’s hardest performances.

Other electronic highlights included Solomun, Sofi Tukker, and Lost Frequencies, who brought a mix of deep sounds and uplifting energy. David Guetta closed the weekend on the Mainstage with a high-energy performance that kept the crowd going until the very end.

Tomorrowland also shared the most played tracks of the weekend. Among them were Cloonee and Young M.A’s “Stephanie”, John Summit’s “Where You Are”, and the Axwell and Dirty South remix of “Sweet Disposition”. These tracks echoed across multiple stages and became part of the weekend’s soundtrack.

Just two days before opening, a fire broke out on the Mainstage during setup. The upper structure was badly damaged, and there were real concerns about whether the festival could start on time. But the team acted fast. They rebuilt and improvised, creating a simpler version of the stage that still brought the magic. Despite the challenges, the show went on and the crowd responded with even more energy.

Now, all eyes turn to Weekend 2, which begins on Friday, July 25. With more artists and new moments ahead, the second chapter of Tomorrowland 2025 is just around the corner.
