Biography
Reinier Zonneveld is a Dutch techno producer and live performer known for his powerful sets and boundary-pushing sound. Classically trained on piano from a young age, he later discovered electronic music and began producing tracks that blend melody, energy, and intensity in a way that has become his trademark.
After completing a master’s degree in econometrics, Reinier turned his full attention to music and quickly made an impact with releases on respected labels including Stil vor Talent, Intec, and Suara. In 2017 he founded his own imprint Filth on Acid, which has since become one of the most influential techno labels in the world. The platform not only showcases his own music but also supports a wide range of established and emerging artists.
Reinier is best known for his live performances, where he builds each set in real time using hardware, software, and an endless flow of creativity. His shows have taken him to major festivals such as Awakenings, Time Warp, and Tomorrowland, as well as clubs across Europe, the Americas, and Asia. His marathon sets are legendary, with one of the most notable being an eleven hour performance in 2022 that set a world record for the longest live electronic music set.
Today, Reinier Zonneveld stands as one of the most influential figures in contemporary techno. Combining classical musicianship with modern production, he continues to inspire fans worldwide and push the genre forward with every performance and release.
