Sven Väth is one of the most enduring and influential figures in electronic music, a true icon whose career spans more than four decades. Born in Germany in 1964, he began DJing in the early 1980s, quickly becoming a pioneer of the country’s underground electronic movement. From his early success with the pop-techno group Off and the groundbreaking club Omen in Frankfurt, to his pivotal role in shaping the sound of European techno and trance in the 1990s, he has always been at the forefront of musical change. In 2000, he founded Cocoon, a label, club brand, and event series that became a global force, hosting unforgettable nights in Ibiza and beyond.
