Charlotte de Witte has announced Azadi, a three-track EP made with AI vocalist NAVA. It lands on 5 November via her KNTXT label, and all proceeds will go to the women's human rights charity FEMENA.
The EP includes Azadi, Omid and Tales Of The Desert. For the release, de Witte worked with NAVA, an AI vocalist developed by British-Iranian artist Farbod Mehr and intended to represent Iranian women who are prohibited from singing in public under the country's laws. FEMENA supports women human rights defenders and feminist movements across the SWANA region and Asia.
De Witte has already previewed the project in public. Last week she shared an Instagram snippet of Tales Of The Desert with AI-generated visuals featuring her alongside NAVA, and she also played one of the EP's tracks during her surprise set on the Tomorrowland 2026 Mainstage.
NAVA draws on Iranian artistic and folk traditions, and the project's visual identity is inspired by classical Iranian art and music.
