Hard Techno DJ CARV Announces End of Career Following Allegations
After addressing explicit messages in an Instagram statement, CARV confirms all shows are canceled and the project will be shut down
CARV, the hard techno artist known for his industrial sound and masked performances, has announced the end of his project following days of intense discussion surrounding allegations circulating within the hard techno scene.
In a translated article shared online, CARV confirmed that “the CARV project ends here”, stating that all upcoming performances will be canceled and his social media channels deactivated. His released music will remain available on streaming platforms.
The announcement follows a first Instagram statement published on his account, in which he admitted to engaging in explicit private conversations and sending intimate images while he was married. In that post, signed “Fritz”, he stated that there was no non-consensual behavior and no criminal wrongdoing, but acknowledged crossing personal boundaries and hurting people in his private life. He also confirmed that he would step away from social media.
The decision comes amid a broader controversy within the hard techno community, following public responses from Shlømo and Odymel earlier this week. Several event organizers have adjusted lineups while public debate continues across the scene.
At this stage, the allegations remain unproven, and no final judicial outcomes have been publicly confirmed.
This remains a developing story.
