Biography
Solomun, born Mladen Solomun in Bosnia and raised in Hamburg, Germany, is one of the most influential artists in electronic music today. Known for his deep and melodic approach to house and techno, he has built a career defined by emotional storytelling on the dancefloor and an unmistakable connection with his audience.
In 2006, he founded Diynamic Music, a label that has become a cornerstone of modern house and techno, supporting countless rising talents while shaping a distinct sound that blends warmth, groove, and intensity. His productions, from underground club tracks to festival anthems, are celebrated for their timeless quality and ability to move both body and soul.
Beyond the studio, Solomun has become a global ambassador of electronic music. His “Solomun +1” residency at Pacha Ibiza is regarded as one of the island’s most iconic parties, built on the simple but powerful concept of sharing the night with one carefully chosen guest. He is equally renowned for marathon sets at festivals and clubs around the world, from Tomorrowland and Time Warp to underground warehouses and open-air stages.
What makes Solomun stand out is not just his technical skill, but his ability to create a journey. His sets often shift from delicate melodies to driving beats, always holding the crowd in the palm of his hand. This ability has earned him a loyal following and recognition as one of the defining DJs of his generation.
Today, Solomun continues to push boundaries while staying true to the values that built his reputation: authenticity, passion, and a deep belief in the power of music to bring people together. Whether at his home base in Hamburg, in Ibiza, or on the biggest festival stages in the world, Solomun delivers experiences that remind people why they fell in love with electronic music in the first place.
