Brutalismus 3000 and Boys Noize have released a new joint single, Nächstenliebe. The track came out on 29 October and serves as a preview of Boys Noize’s upcoming album 7LLVSION, which is set for release on 6 November.
FAZEmag says the song opens with a dark, repeating bassline that recalls DAF, the German group named in the announcement as an influence on both acts. Over that, Victoria Vassiliki Daldas delivers spoken and shouted vocals in German while the beat stays sparse at first.
FAZEmag says the arrangement gradually grows heavier, with thicker synths and stronger kick drums pushing the track forward. Near the end, it shifts into a steadier kick-on-every-beat groove and adds a reggaeton-rooted drum pattern.
The single previews Boys Noize's album 7LLVSION, due on 6 November. FAZEmag reports that it will be his first solo album in five years. Before Nächstenliebe, he had already shared 1+1+1 with Dutch rave artist ZEP.
This is not the first link between Boys Noize and Brutalismus 3000. The two acts previously worked together on I Bring My Gun To The Function, which appeared in June on Brutalismus 3000’s album Harmony.
