Drumcode has released 30 Years of Drumcode, a two-part anniversary set that is out now. The label has split it into 14 reworks on Volume 1 and six remixes on Volume 2, both built from older tracks in the catalogue.

The compilation arrives 30 years after Adam Beyer started Drumcode in Sweden in the mid-1990s. The label also runs a weekly radio show and stages events and festivals across Europe and North and South America.

Volume 1 has 14 reworks from artists long linked to Drumcode. Amelie Lens takes on In Silence, Alan Fitzpatrick returns to Skeksis, Victor Ruiz revisits Love Story and Nicole Moudaber updates I Know Where I’ve Been. Joel Mull also reworks Rimson, while Beyer reshapes his own 2024 track Don’t Go. HI-LO, Mark Reeve, Sam Paganini, Julian Jeweil, Wehbba, Christian Smith & John Selway and Tiger Stripes also feature. Volume 1 also includes Charles D and Cevin Fisher’s new version of Traction (The Way We Used To Do It). Fisher died last month.

Volume 2 works differently, sticking to six remixes instead of the broader set of reworks on Volume 1. Jesper Dahlbäck remixes DC01 Pt. 1, HNTR and KASIA take on Space Date by Adam Beyer, Layton Giordani and Green Velvet, and Veerus & Mattia Saviolo rework Congenial Endeavor. Adam Beyer and Bart Skils also remix Maceo Plex’s Conjure Dreams, with Sam Kitt and Dok & Martin completing the tracklist.
